Tips for Optimal Wellness

Start by getting off the couch. Our bodies are designed to move. Commit to simply walking for twenty minutes each day. Grab a friend, your favorite music or an audio book. Your metabolism will increase as will your energy level.  Muscles you had forgotten about will begin to emerge. Certainly your health is worth twenty minutes a day. Walking is one of the healthiest and simplest forms of exercise.  It is also sustainable. Embarking on a rigorous workout routine is not sustainable.

Be mindful of what you eat.  Don’t limit yourself to certain foods in an effort to rapidly lose weight. This is a short term fix. Mindful eating is a lifestyle. Start by eliminating a sugary sodas and fast food.  Gradually introduce various fruits and vegetables.  Your moods will stabilize, your skin will clear up and you’ll have more energy.

Care for your relationships. Spend time with friends and family that add goodness to your life. Avoid those that pull you down or are consumed in negativity. You are worth this journey. Take charge of your life and wellness and it will pay off for years to come!
